Bako Wales staff raised £140 for Macmillan Caner Support when the company took part in the charity's 'World's Biggest Coffee Morning' event.

Friday 28th September saw some stretched waistbands at Bako Wales as we once again joined in with the Macmillan Cancer Support ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ event.

The enticing display of home-made and specially bought cakes, all brought in on the day, was difficult to resist and tempted staff into dough-nating an amazing £140.

This is the 3rd year that we’ve taken part in the ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ and we’ve been able to dough-nate almost £450 as a result.

Through the Coffee Morning, which people across UK take part in by organising their own small events on the same day, Macmillan Cancer Support aim to raise funds to help everyone living with cancer to live life as fully as they can, with a target of £27 million set for the 2018 event.

Customer Service Team member, SAS, who organised the event at Bako Wales, said:

“Eating cake is a fun way to raise money and the event is always very well supported by Bako Wales' staff.
It's a great excuse to enjoy some delicious cakes while raising money for a very worthy cause.”
